Worry-Free Operation
Just plug in the NOCO GEN2 on-board battery charger and forget about your batteries. NOCO's revolutionary smart processor uses sophisticated levels of intelligence to alter the battery-charging process so you don't have to.
Advanced Eight-Step Charging Process
The NOCO GEN2 on-board battery charger uses an eight-step process to charge and maintain your battery. First, it checks your battery's voltage to make sure that the connections are good and that the battery is in stable condition before beginning the charge process. Second, it begins a bulk-charging process with a gentle (soft) charge. The process then continues and returns 80 percent of the battery's capacity. Next, it switches to a constant current charge rate to bring your battery close to a 90 percent charge, then charges a low current levels until the battery has reached 95 percent of its capacity. From there, the charger initiates a top-off charge to bring the battery to 100 percent. Finally, the GEN2 shuts off but constantly monitors your battery by providing a gentle charge every 24 hours for maximum battery life.
The NOCO GEN2 on-board battery charger is backed by a three-year limited warranty.

I looked at many brand and narrowed it down to either Minn Kota or the NOCO Genius 2. I'm glad I went with the Gen2. I wired up the charger plug to a recessed outlet on my boat instead of the plug-in cord. The charger is small and light and give great power output for the money. 2 banks @ 10amps per bank. It automatically charges and then shuts off and goes into a "mainatain" mode. I charge both my starting batter and my deep cycle battery with it. It knows how to charge each batter based on the internal circuitry. I've used it about 1/2 a season (30 plus charges) and typically leave it plugged in for several days at a time. Batteries are perfectly charged and ready to go. I would HIGHLY recommend this charger to anyone who is looking for an onboard charging system for your boat. It beats the hell out of hooking up an individual battery charger after each trip. I just plug in an extension cord and I'm...
