I like the idea of having a rechargable battery for toys since it is so expensive replacing regular batteries constantly. This battery was part of my child's Christmas along with the Vertigo radio controlled car (which I HIGHLY recommend). I charged it the recommended time and it was very easy to install into the car and off we went. It lasted as long as the standard rechargeable battery that was in my other son's remote control car (they both ran down at the exact same time).
