This review is from: Schumacher SE-1250 Manual Operation 10 and 30 Amp Charger with 50 Amp Emergency Engine Start (Automotive) This battery charges is simple and does the job. It will put out 30 amps or 10 amps of current. I did not try the 50 jump start option, but I don't see why that would not work. I am using this to charge batteries attached to a solar system, so I did not need a smart charger. I can charge the batteries when they get low with this and let the solar charge controller do all the fancy smart charging. The device seems to be well build. Update. I lowered the rating to 3 stars as I discovered that the charger will only put out 30 amps for 8 minutes or so. The good news is that there is a thermal switch that will turn it off, so nothing gets hurt, but this is not a 30 amp charger. It is a 10 Amp that can put out burts of 30 amps and 50 amps for a limited time.
