Advanced Seven-Step Charging Process
The NOCO G4 battery charger and maintainer uses a seven-step process to charge and maintain your battery. First, it checks your battery's voltage to make sure that the connections are good and that the battery is in stable condition before beginning the charge process. Second, it initializes a recovery process, if needed, for deeply discharged or sulfated batteries by pulsing small amounts of current. Next, it begins a bulk-charging process with a gentle (soft) charge. The process then continues and returns 80 percent of the battery's capacity.
From there, the G4 brings the charge level to 100 percent and continues to deliver only enough current to keep the battery full. Finally, it monitors the battery voltage to determine whether a maintenance charge should be initiated. The maintenance cycle is repeated to keep the battery at full charge, without overcharging, and the charger can be left connected indefinitely.

As it says, VERY light and easy to mount to the wall, good quality. It's exactly like my other battery charger just more of them. Have it plugged in to the lawn mower and 2 Harley's. Gets a little warm but nothing to be concerned over and is quiet. Way smaller than I though it would be and very light. I was confused at first since there seems to be a lot of cords, lights, buttons. But once I plugged one battery into it, I figured it out. Has everything a normal charger would have just more condensed and 4 of them. If something is not charging it's on standby, but anything else plugged in is charging and you can see the lights blink on levels. There is one master power button if you want it all off. After the intital confusion I am extremely satisfied. |
